A journey of discovery into the essence of being.
“It is an effort to externalize the truth of my own existence on as many levels as possible and communicate a greater awareness of the quality of life. It is an attempt to generate enquiry into the greater spheres of understanding which lie beyond conventionalized intellection. For me, art is always an answer to which the question must be found.”
- KEITH MORANT
A Life Dedicated to Creative Expression
Born in England, Keith Morant was a dedicated artist who pursued the truth of existence through his creations. He drew and painted obsessively for as long as he could remember.
Though he was classically trained, he always chose to follow his own distinct path of individual expression. He worked and exhibited in London until 1973, when he relocated to New Zealand and made his permanent home in Christchurch.
